Kalabash was launched in November  2002 as the FIRST West African Restaurant in Bristol, which in itself is unique, considering Bristol's historical links with the West African Coast.

The only place in Bristol where you will find Palm wine, Star and Gulder lager from Nigeria, Tusker from Kenya, Castle, Windhock, Hunters Gold and Savanna from the Southern part of the continent, to wash down our exquisite Whole Chargrilled Tilapia Fish meal!

Kalabash aims to provide the authentic West African experience, fine wholesome foods, beers and wines from across the continent, combined with the lively atmosphere created by the African design, decor, and background video projected music which simply lures you into the world of Africa!
